This episode we take a look at Tokyo Skytree on a short but leisurely trip up the Kitajukken River. For decades Tokyo Tower in the Shibakoen district had been the workhorse of the broadcasting industry in the city. But over time it was surrounded by high-rise buildings and was not suitable for the planned move to digital terrestrial broadcasting so a new tower, Tokyo Skytree was constructed in 2012. It is currently the tallest tower and the third tallest structure in the world. Very few editorial cuts along the way so just relax and enjoy.
